This signature program is designed to help you optimize your health through an individualized holistic low-stress non-diet approach to food and lifestyle. So you can reclaim your lost energy, enjoy life and feel confident in your body. 

  

Feeling frustrated about your unhealthy body? Do you want to wake up feeling good? Do you want your health back? Have you tried various diets and different programs that didn’t work? The reason programs haven’t worked for you in the past is because they were not designed for YOU.  

   

Often, it’s hard to see things clearly when you are in the middle of healing crisis. In 6 Months to Joyful Body, I use my intuition to listen deeply to your unique situation and help guide you through the healing journey in an easy gentle way. Everything is individualized for you.  

 

  • I help you learn to listen to your body and begin making small changes that help you feel better. 
  • I empower you to develop a deeper understanding of your individual body and what it needs.
  • I teach you to develop a positive relationship with food through an intuitive non-diet approach to eating.


Traditional deprivation-based diets don’t work because they are based on unsustainable will power. The traditional diet culture has you follow diet rules that tell you what to eat and disempower your body’s wisdom.  In 6 Months to Joyful Body Program, I help you to get on the right path to creating a new healthy you and we have fun along the way.

 

The program is totally customized for you based on your needs and your individual challenges.  No cookie cutter approach here.  I work with my Pillars of Health (see below) to explore which areas you want & need to improve the most. 

 

How it works - We start with a free introductory call where we chat and discuss how you would like to improve your health and what is happening in your life.  Then we meet for an hour every other week for 6 months (or every week for an accelerated program).  Each session we will agree upon 2-3 things for you to work on and I will send you a supportive handout and/or a learning video to reinforce new information we have discussed. We will move as fast or slow as you like (or your life allows).  I will support you each step of the way so that you can absorb and assimilate the information as we go.

Pillars of Health

    

The Pillars of Health are a flexible framework to look at what’s happening in your life relative to health and help you understand how to create balance & optimal health for YOU.  All the Pillars work together to create optimal health.  They are integrated on many levels in many ways. I consider Eating (Heal your relationship with food) to be the primary core pillar that we initially review.  Which Pillar we address next and the order is based on what’s happening with your body, your life and what you feel drawn to. 

      

EATING - Heal your relationship with food

What if you had a conscious relationship with food which freed you from self judgement and dieting rules? There is a lot of misinformation and confusion in our society and the diet culture about how we “should” eat that creates a confusing relationship with food that is disempowering.  Using an intuitive non-diet approach to eating creates freedom and self-empowerment allowing you to stop obsessing over what you do or don’t eat. As an intuitive eater you make conscious choices about how to eat that feel good for your body and mind.

 

SELF-AWARENESS - Cultivate healthy self-talk

The stories we tell ourselves about health habits, attitudes and lifestyle rules deeply affect how we see and react to our bodies. When you are free of debilitating self-talk you are empowered to move forward on your health journey with gratitude and appreciation for your body.

        

MOVEMENT - Find balance for your physical body

Your body needs both gentle movement and quality sleep to create physical balance.  Moving your body doesn’t need to be a punishment. It can be enjoyable activities like walking, dancing, hiking, gardening or yoga. At the end of the day good sleep habits and quality sleep allow your physical body to be rejuvenated, creating a balanced energized body.

    

SPIRITUALITY - Develop inner peace & awareness

Connecting with your inner self helps you to reduce stress and create the self-awareness needed to transform your health. Explore what is the best way for you to quiet your mind and connect with your inner world. Trying various styles of meditation, Qi Gong or mindfulness allows you to find the best way to experience a deep inner peace.  

       

NUTRITION - Discover which foods heal YOUR body

What foods you eat makes a difference in how you fuel your body and how you feel. Increase your nutrition knowledge and explore how specific food choices make a difference for YOUR individual body. Small healthy food changes can make a big difference in how you feel and lead to big health improvements.

        

FUN - Balance and feed your soul

Living a life that is out of alignment with your true nature, is draining and makes it more difficult to improve health. In this pillar we look at letting go of the “shoulds” and unfulfilling elements of your life, and reimagine a life that feels fun and balanced. It may be a combination of your work, relationships, family or hobbies that feed your unique soul.

 

 

 

Who is the Program FOR?

 

6 Months for Joyful Body Program is for you if:

  • You want to feel healthier in your daily life.
  • You have tried various programs or fad diets without getting the desired long-term results. 
  • You are confused about what will really work for you. 
  • You know what you want to do, but have a hard time actually doing it.  
  • You ready for some guidance and support to overcome challenging health habits.

 

 

Who is the Program NOT for?

If you are looking for a fad diet, boot camp or a quick fix – this is not for you.  I help people learn to be truly healthy from the inside out. Quick fix solutions rely on sure will power which requires constant work and then fades quickly at the first sign of imperfection or real-life stress.  When you create true health patterns with a positive mindset, then you continue to grow, learn and improve over time. The improvements that you feel will help motivate you to continue your new lifestyle.

I spent my 20’s in the tech industry, but soon found myself drawn to health.  After getting my Masters in Health Education, I worked in corporate wellness, taught holistic health classes and provided health coaching.

In my 40’s I started to have health challenges.  Even with my health awareness, I had inflammation, foggy brain, low energy, mood swings and poor sleep.  I remember spending 15 minutes with my toddler daughter planting some pansies, and then being painfully sore for a week!  It was my wake up call to get some help. I learned that my low thyroid is really Hashimotos autoimmune disease.   I improved my sleep and reduced my stress. I started experimenting with my diet. Through my own wellness journey, I developed the Pillars of Health (a customizable holistic approach to helping people feel better in their body).

Over time all of these little things I did made a huge difference in how I feel!  Now I’ve felt great for years!  I have energy to do what I want to do.  I’ve learned to REALLY listen to my individual body.

 

To follow my passion and learn more about health, I attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition coaching program.  I continue to apply the Pillars of Health to my own life as I help others apply the Pillars to their life.  I love listening deeply to your situation and using my intuition to help you learn to listen to your body and move forward on your health journey.

Questions you might have

 

Why 6 months? 

There are 12 coaching sessions in 6 Months to Joyful Body Program which are spaced over 6 months (every other week) or 3 months (once a week) for a more accelerated program.  Most people in our busy world enjoy the slower pace because they are juggling multiple things.  It takes time to understand why you do what you do and to make lasting health changes that become everyday habits.  Sometimes life challenges your new healthy habits and you get off balance for a week or two.  That’s OK.  With the slower program you have more time to recover and get back on track.  You might prefer the more accelerated program if you would like more support during an intense health issue or if you are really driven to move quickly through the Joyful Body Program. Ultimately, it is your choice whether you want the program to be 3 months or 6 months.

 

 

What if I want to cancel?

I consider your commitment to 6 Months to Joyful Body Program a commitment to yourself.  If you are not feeling satisfied with the course, then we can discuss it.  Since it is a customized program there is a lot of flexibility.  If there is no way to resolve the problem, then I can stop future monthly charges.
